Have you ever known true pain?
Pain from the inside that threatens to
tear out your intestines.
Pain so fierce, that deep down you wish
you were dead.
Have you ever known what it's like to
have your red cells turn to white?
The sure sign of death lying in waiting
disguise.
Have you ever known what it feels like
to loose your hair?
Going bald at the scalp, ridden with fear
Have you ever known what it's like to
watch your loved ones die?
Afraid to loose them on this winter's night.
Have you ever known what it's like to be
told you've lost the fight?
That your days were numbered, that
you'll only see a few nights,
Have you ever known what it's like to
not know where you're going on the
other side?
To have your have heart stop beating. To take
your last breath.
Have you ever known what it's like to
recite your last words on your death bed?
Have you ever known what it is like to
loose the battle, the ultimate fight for
life?
Still we complain for our life.
